Ivor and Wendy offer guests a warm welcome to Thatched Cottage Bed and Breakfast.

All our rooms are self-contained set in the grounds of our 15th Century home, with stunning views over the meadow and gardens in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

A continental breakfast basket will be supplied in your room a with a selection of cereals, pastries, mini preserves and fruit. There is a fridge containing fresh juice, milk, yogurt and butter, tea and coffee facilities, also a small microwave, extra crockery and cutlery for a light meal with a table and chairs for guest’s comfort. There are also outside seating areas for enjoying a picnic or drinks after a day exploring the area.

Private parking is situated behind the cottage with coded entry for guest’s security. There is direct access to all the rooms via the orchard and rear garden.

Thatched Cottage is situated in the Historic village of Hever in an idyllic position for country walks and visiting many places of interest. Only one mile from Hever Golf Club and a 2 minute walk from Hever Castle, passing ‘Henry VIII Inn’ on the way!

• Hever is famous for its connections with Anne Boleyn, second wife of Henry VIII. A visit to Hever Castle will delight history lovers and gardeners with its rich past and delightful lake.
• Hever Station is an easy 20 min walk. You can take in the sights of central London after a 55 min train journey. Other local attractions include Penshurst Place, and Chiddingstone village.
• A National Trust members paradise with so many options under an hour away, choose from :-
  Chartwell, Sissinghurst, Knole, Emmetts Garden, Ightham Mote, Scotney Castle, Nymans and more.
